A Look at Lethbridge

Here's a preview of this week's opponent: University of Lethbridge.

The Lethbridge Pronghorns are led by head coach Greg Gatto. Gatto is 35 years old and entering his third season coaching at his alma mater. After playing four years in the WHL for four different teams, Gatto played two seasons for the Pronghorns. After leaving Lethbridge, he played three seasons of pro hockey in England and then three years in the Central Hockey League, before hanging up his skates for a coaching career.

Mankato will be the second stop on Lethbridge's tour of Minnesota this weekend. They will face St. Cloud on Friday night, and then play Minnesota on Sunday.

Lethbridge will be playing their fourth game of the season, while the Mavericks will only be playing their first. The Pronghorns are 0-2 on the season, after losing 2-1 to the University of British Columbia(the school reportedly considering a move to the NCAA), and a 4-1 loss to the University of Alberta, who beat Mankato in the first game of last season.
