Coaches Poll: Mavericcks Seem To Be Underdogs in the WCHA this Season

Minnesota State seems like a pretty big underdog across many preaseason polls this season. It will give them a chance to try and prove people wrong, and hopefully succeed. Losing 3 top point getters will definatly hurt the Mavs this season, but they do have some pretty good freshmen coming in, who will hopefully be able to, atleast partially fill the holes left from early departures. We are going to need guys like Brian Kilburg, and Mick Berge to step up this season. It will be interesting to see the new guys in action, as the Mavericks prepare for their 2006-2007 Season to start. They will only have one test before the Rgular Season gets going, that coming this Saturday, at home, against Lethbridge.
