Yarrrr: Carter is a Pirate

Ryan Carter didn't survive the first round of cuts at Anaheim's Training Camp, as he was assigned to the Portland Pirates of the AHL today. It's not surprise since Carter was expected to start out the season in the AHL.

David Backes survived St. Louis' first cut downs. His Blues team will be playing against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night at the XCel Energy Center.
